Intercom video & myApps

Hello,

Is it possible to call an intercom (2N) from myApps and view the video? I tested following a request from customer but it’s NOK (I think it’s because H264 not send in SDP from myApps user)

Of course the video is OK when incoming call from Intercom (because codec H264 is send in SDP by Intercom 2N)

The customer would like to see the video from the intercom at any time without anyone calling from the intercom.

Do you know a way to have the video during a call to the intercom?

Hello!

You can view video from 2N every time from a Browser. Enter in Browser adress line

http://<ip-of-2N>/api/camera/snapshot?width=640&height=480&source=internal&fps=10.

You also can add this line in an Inno-phone under phone - preferences, than video is visable on phone.

myApps we didn't test until now, but it might be possible to add a Browser-App with above mentioned link.

thanks uwe for you answer, but it's not really my question, I will try to give more informations.

I know we can set a web link to intercom camera but the customer would like to have a favorite myApps Ap at home screen (like a favorite user) and when he click on it a intern call is going to Intercom that automatically answer (I know it's possible) and the video appears automatically. For that, means the intercom must receive incoming video call and not only normal call.

To be able to have the video I think it would be necessary to be able to indicate in the PBX that all users calls add the H264 codec when they call the Intercom.

I already change settings HTTP API for use 2N® Helios IP Eye.

May be in 2N under Services - HTTP API the settings for Camara API must be adapted (to more unsecure)

I tested it with V13r3. Video is possible if client and intercom have a direct IP connection. Because 2N doesn’t support ICE and the media relay options of Innovaphone do not support video, is it not possible over NAT boarders.

The customer has Intercom 2N and Innovaphone devices on LAN (same subnet).

Concretely, please can you explain what to do to be able to have the video during a call to the intercom from myApps?

Hello Francois,

with our myApps App "doorbell" it works in the other call direction, the 2n calls a user or WQ and then the videostream will be shown.

I hope Niels find a solution for you, but if you didn´t find a solution and you are interessted to buy our doorbell app, we could think about to implement also the other call direction, (the user calls the 2N).

thanks for this insformation, I also see this App "doorbell" in Innovaphone Store but it's not easy as a distributor to propose a product without ever having tested it in order to be sure that it corresponds to the customer's expectations. Moreover as a distributor we have no direct contact with the end customer, we sell to installers and integrators

I did the test of creating an app with the link to the camera and checking "Plain website". It works but only with the myApps client, on all web browsers I always have a blank page when selecting the camera app.

I don't know if the final customer use web browser or client myApps, if he use web browser I will suggest to purchase the doorbell app.
