Support of ethernet interface on JavaScript library for App Services - Feature request?
Hi innovaphone,

is there a reason why the ethernet interface from C++ side (https://sdk.innovaphone.com/13r2/sdk/common/interface/ethernet.htm) is not implemented as JavaScript library for App Services?
Or is there another possibility where we can get the Mac address of the system from JavaScript Service side?

If there is no possbility to get the mac address, we would open a feature request.

Best regards

Mladen

Hello Mladen,

just for documentation, the feature is available from v13r2 sr12:

Re: Support of ethernet interface on JavaScript library for App Services - Feature request?
Hi again,

just wondering if it would be possible to extend the interface ("ethernet" for both c++ and javascript side) to also query the Mac address of the respective/connected PBX? Currently I only see the possibility to access it via the PBXAdminApi, which means every app needs the rights for this api (even if I only need the mac address value of the PBX). Or have I missed something?

The reason why i ask is following: In a Master Slave Scenario (one/multiple PBX with multiple app platforms) I would like to have the possibility to determine the Mac address of the master PBX in the simplest way possible.

Can the ethernet interface be extended with a "IEthernet::GetPBXMACAddress" function? Can we get a list of all the PBXs MAC addresses too?
