[Implemented] IPVA and KVM
Hi,
I'm trying to migrate VmWare IPVA to KVM. I have converted the vmdk files into .qcow2 files but when I start the virtual machine I have this error: Loading failed for image=IPVA BIN

can you help me?

Is there a document with the procedure to use for the migration?

Thanks.

Re: IPVA and KVM
Good Morning,

we did not support KVM. So we have no documentation.

Greetings Gerrit

Re: IPVA and KVM
I also need this on KVM. I understand, that this is not "supported", however the VM doesn't even boot on provided X86 virtual machine which is upsetting.

Re: IPVA and KVM
Hello everyone,

With 14r1 Beta 4, the IPVA will also support KVM + QEMU environments in the future smile
We have already tested Proxmox 8.0 and 8.1 positively.

All information on the release of Beta 4 will be posted in the Community PBX at https://community.innovaphone.com/.

Technical information can then be found here: https://wiki.innovaphone.com/index.php?title=Reference14r1:Concept_Innovaphone_Virtual_Appliance#Applies_To

We would be very pleased if you would also test this in your environment and give us feedback in the Community PBX.

Best regards Basti
