IP4 STUN settings are lost after PBX reset
Hello forum,

Just encountered the following weird issue.
IP4 > General > STUN settings are filled in & saved via OK.
If I return later to this configuration page, the correct settings are still there.

But after a PBX reset, the TURN Server & TURN Username setting are not correct anymore, they are reset to a previous old and incorrect value.

It looks like these settings are not saved in the configuration, but if I download the configuration file, the config file contains the correct values.

Anyone encountered the same issue?

PBX =
13r1 sr12 IP411[13.2357]

Best regards,
Sam

Hi Sam,

could it be that your DHCP provides the data? See fish-help.png DHCP client.
DHCP always wins!

Hi Sam,

or could it be, that your Devices App has a MEDIA configuration under "Devices Configurations" which rolls out STUN/TURN configurations on all domain devices?

These configurations are applied on every reconnect to the Devices App so of course also after each reboot of the device!

Greetings,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks a lot! This solved my issue.

But ... the myApps UI is not really intuitive, to put it politely.
At first I was clicking on the item "Media Global" itself, which shows up the standard PBX UI.
It took me a while to discover that you have to click on the pencil, to open up an extra layer of configuration.

Best regards,
Sam
