V13 Search for Extensions in Softphone & Phone-APP
Hello all.

Anybody else that can`t search for PBX-extensions in Softphone & Phone APP ?

Tested with android, IOS Softphone and Windows PhoneAPP and Softphone APP.
Testing beeing done now in my inhouse testsolution V13 -SR11.
Same experience at a customer site V13 sr 10.

Innovaphone: If there is any issues regarding this subject, please let us know.

I'm pretty sure that you have to check your LDAP-settings. I can search.

Yes you can smile
I was also thinking LDAP. LDAP server reports no errors.
Changed password in ConfigUser-template and LDAP-server, did not make a difference.

Shall look deeper into it.

Your smartphone is connected via Reverse Proxy? In this case you have to use a user-account with a domain-part. The domain must not be known by DNS, but it's needed for routing the LDAP-request at the RP.
For a simple start you can create a user like reverse\phone and use at the directory-settings. Then you must create a RP-entry with the domain reverse and adress LDAP to you PBX.
A automatic V13-installation creates the user pbx-domain\ldap-guest . I'm not shure about this - I have to forward the PBX-domain for LDAP to the App-Plattform, because the contacts app creates a user with this domain too.
So in my example I have another domain for LDAP-Requests to the PBX.

Hi.
No Reverse Proxy used, only within same LAN.
System is configured with: Do Not Use DNS, wondering if this is the issue.
Shall try putting in som DNS record in PBX.

...when I reach the PBX located at our Office. The Office has no internet connection now, shall be fixed during the Night, so I can try tomorrow.

Hey. Is this an upgraded installation from V12? I had similar issue last week. Just switched to new User Template „Config User“ and it worked

Hi. This is a clean V13 install and Templates (Config-User / Config-Admin) made during install is used.

Problem solved !
Did a reinstall of myAPPs plattform wink
Regarding LDAP in PBX: This seams to only be used by IP Phones. The LDAP rx-search counter in PBX only shows movement when IP Phone do a search.
Search from Phone/Softphone-APP must be placed within myAPPs plattform.
