Jabra Evolve 75 with IP112/2x2
Im trying to get the headset working with our phones, but up to now, to no avail.
According to the DVL-Roadmap Firmware 12r2 it should be supported; we're running the PBX and phones with 12r2 sr2 [12.5179/125179], so maybe I'm just missing something.
On plugging it in the phone, the link between LINK 370 and headset is established, and the info "pc connected" can be heard.
Unfortunately, neither outgoing calls can be setup, nor incoming calls answered using the accept-button located on the headset - there is no noticeable reaction on the phone.
I've only been able to handle the calls using the phone or myPBX. The remaining buttons like volume, mute and listen-in however work like a charm.
Headset details:
When plugging in the LINK 370, the following lines can be found in the trace:
USB-DEVICE vendor=0b0e '' product=245e 'Jabra Link 370' release=0116
usb_audio::device_connected(ok) In: Channels=1 SampleRate=16000Hz Out: Channels=2 SampleRate=16000Hz
usb_hid::device_connected(ok)
usb_msd::device_connected(disabled)
HID REPORT DESCRIPTOR
HID-PLUGGED - vendor=0b0e product=245e UNKNOWN
I then tried the method described in Reference9:Concept USB Headset - Unsupported Headsets with values gathered from an Evolve 65 that uses the LINK 370:
USB-DEVICE vendor=0b0e '' product=a346 'Jabra LINK 360' release=0244
usb_audio::device_connected(ok) In: Channels=1 SampleRate=16000Hz Out: Channels=2 SampleRate=16000Hz
usb_hid::device_connected(ok)
usb_msd::device_connected(disabled)
HID-PLUGGED - vendor=0b0e product=a346 (BUILTIN)
So i added the following line to the phones' configuration:
config change KEYS0 /hid-map 0b0e:245e=0b0e:a346
Pressing the accept button on the headset now, the line would be opened and a call could be established. I had no luck accepting an incoming call though.
I'm aware that the Evolve 65 is not identical to the 75, but it's as close as I could get.
Has anyone managed to get their Evolve 75 working fully on their IP2x2 yet, or an idea how to get it working?
Kind regards,
Benjamin
