Replicator: Table User Sync

Hello,

we use in a our apps the replicatoin with table user sync.

We noticed on a support case, that we got a looped replicate update.

After the app was deinstalled and installed again the problem wasn´t there. Then we checked in one of your systems for that scenario and see, that we have in all checked app this scenario. We got every 10min in each app a replicate update of users who are definitivley not online at the weekend. So no presence change could be the trigger. Ok, we use calender sync etc.

Do you have an idear why we got this unnecessary replicate updates of users?

Then we did some test with the replication and noticed that if we do an app restart on the app plattform and send the last known usn by the replication process, then the replication process start after restart and got thre replication finish. But after the replication finished we got more replicate updates with smaller USNs. Why we got these replicate updates with smaller USNs?

Hello,

some more infos.

We noticed that behavior first on a V13 and then checked it also on a V14.

We didn´t noticed that in the past, so maybe it could be a new behavior of one newer firmware.

are any replicators active or apps that sync presences ?

(Active Directory, innovaphone-microsoft365, kuando,presence heartbeat or something like that ?

Nothing is currently known in this regard.

Hi Peter,

yes on our pbx is innovaphone-microsoft365 and kuando and calender sync active.

On the seen customer pbx i think i saw a not functioned calender sync, which was later deactiviated. Maybe there were more, but i don´t know.

But maybe interessting is, that there are also user sync, from users who have no started computer or mobile device.

Hi Daniel,

TableUsers is not really reflected to the state of a device or a client, it could be everything which is done at the userobject.

In fact, also an unsuccesful Login with wrong credentials would trigger an UPDATE Message in TableUser.

So the question is:

Do you have this Updatemessage in a repeated Intverval. Than i think, it is triggered by an App (Presence, Teams Connecter , Active Directory,..)

=> May you could have a view on the Logs from the mentioned Apps, if the have done something to this time you are regognizing it.

=> Also you could set the Traceflag "PBX", than you will see the Websocketmessages to the PBX. But i would do that not on a system with much traffic ;).

Do you have this sometimes and on times where no one is working.

=> You could try the Traceflag "PBX" also for this.

Without this Trace, it is diffucult to say, why these messages are triggered.

I will also think about Logging it on my Testsetup.
