App not listed as pbx object
I created a new app for MyApps using the js runtime tutorial on youtube. I started the App in the AP/Admin UI but it won't show up as one of the pbx objects. I already restarted VS multiple times and tried everything I found online that could possibly help without any success

Usually the PBX Object and Instance on the App Platform are created upon creation of the Visual Studio Project (it asks for creation of the connection and PBX Object).

However you can do it afterwards, if you are in the VS Project, select "Tools > innovaphone SDK > Init PBX and AppPlatform..." from the Visual Studio menu.
