App Migration from C++ to JS
Hello,

one of our published Apps was first written in C++, but we have reprogrammed it in JS. So is there a possibility to release the new JS App under the same name and use the data / database of the old c++ app?
So could a user do a normal update process of the app and first it was c++ and then it switches to js through the app store update prozess. Or have we to release a new App with a new App Name like myAppsAppName2, when it was first myAppsAppName?

Re: App Migration from C++ to JS
Hello Daniel,

despite migration scenario for the database/config for existing installations, I see no problems to replace the binary of the C++ app by generic binary + httpfiles.zip in the upcoming release.

Important is to have a build number that is higher, than the previous build.
