Hello

I know the topic has been already discussed a few years ago. So I thougt maybe something has changend an I asked again.

Is there a possibility to save or restore a chat history?

within V13 one can use the premium chat which offers chat history storage.

Can I see if somebody stores my chat history or is this only possible from my computer?

  • V13: if you do use a UC-client called "myAPPs" you have V13 wink
  • Premium Chat:
    • open the chat application, send any chat message to anyone and afterwards close the chat app. After re-opening the previously generated chat thread should be visibile = persistant which means you do have premium chat licenses. If it's not visible anymore, you most probably do have standard-chat
    • or you could have a look in your PBX-licenses (or your admin could do so) and check for a license called "App(chat)"

Thank you for your helpfully responds.

Okay I think we have the v12 liscence. Because in the installation menu is written: innovaphone myPBX125210 and also 12.0.5210. That could mean that this is the v12 isn’t? And i never saw somewhere the term „myAPPs“ only myPBX.
And if I finish the chat with the finish button and open it afterwards again there is no chat history anymore.

So if we‘ve the v12 we can not store or restore the chat history? Also not from the administration computer?

Hi,
if the version of your UC-client is 125210 you are using the v12-variant of myPBX.
If your PBX uses the same version (which I assume as you also haven't heard/seen anything about myAPPs) you are not able to store any chat history at all.
Chat history storage is a new feature which comes with V13, the new chat implementation and is enabled by use of the premium chat licenses.
