Re: forward after no of rings
Hello José

Set a CFNR (Call Forward No Response)
"Number of rings" would be something you have to count in seconds...
In your PBX > config > General, set the "Response Timeout" to the desired time

Re: forward after no of rings

Hi José,

If you would like to forward for example one waiting queue to another, just make 2 waiting queues, like this:

200 | WQ-Sales
201 | WQ-Sales-Overflow

Put in a CFNR at WQ-Sales to WQ-Sales-Overflow or simply number 201.

You can do the same for users.

If you do not specify a response timeout at the object itself, it will use the PBX default response timeout set at PBX -> Config -> Response Timeout.

The CFB you are using is what happens then the called user is busy.
Please keep in mind personal forwardings do not apply when calling waiting queues, unless specified (click on queue, click tab 'queue', check 'execute operator cfb/cfnr').

Hope this helps, if you still have a question, please make screenshots and attach them.

Re: forward after no of rings
Hi,

The idea is, if the extension A is busy forward to extension B, or if the extension A does not answer in 15s forward to extension B.

It's possible?

Thanks

José

Re: forward after no of rings
  • Click on the username you want to edit
  • Switch to the User tab
  • Fill in Response Timeout and specify in seconds
  • Click on the + icon in the CF column
  • Enter CFB (busy) with a number (in my example 963 which corresponds with another extension)
  • Enter CFNR (not reachable) with a number (in my example 963 which corresponds with another extension)

If this does not solve your problem please rephrase your question or attach screenshots.
